Custom football kit, home and away.
Lightweight sublimated jerseys, matching shorts, training bibs and warm-up layers. From 50 pieces per style per colour, sizes split as the squad falls.
Football kit is the lightest thing we build in the sports range. The jersey is a thin polyester knit, the shorts are cut loose, and the whole set is designed to move rather than to take contact. That lets us use open knit structures and mesh panels that would not survive a rugby scrum.
A normal club order is two jerseys, home and away, plus shorts in two colours. On top of that most sides add training bibs so the coach can split a session, and a warm-up layer for the walk-out and for winter.
We make the outer kit. We do not knit socks, so a squad buys those separately and we will colour-match the jersey to a sock you already have if you send us a swatch.

What goes into the kit
Honest detail on the knit, the seams and the cut.
Lightweight breathable knits
Jerseys run in a fine polyester interlock or an open mesh, typically 130–180 GSM. The openness of the knit is what moves air and lets sweat spread out and dry. We will not put a number on how much: it depends on the weather and on the player.
Mesh panels
Side panels, underarm blocks and back yokes can be cut in a more open mesh than the body. It is a real construction choice, not a graphic, so it has to be decided before the pattern is cut.
Seams and hems
Flatlock or overlock through the body depending on the knit, with a taped neck seam and a twin-needle hem. Light cloth needs a light seam, so we keep the stitch density down to avoid puckering.
Collars
Crew, v-neck or a short stand collar. All three are cut from a rib or self-fabric band and attached with a taped seam so the neckline holds after repeated washing.
Shorts
Cut loose, with a covered elastic waist, an internal drawcord and a side split or a straight hem. Match shorts are usually made without pockets. Training shorts can have them.
Bibs and warm-ups
Training bibs are a simple sleeveless mesh pull-on in solid colours, cheap to reorder. Warm-ups are quarter-zips, track tops and joggers from our standard blocks in club colours.

Decoration
Sublimation is the main route for football team graphics, and it suits the sport well because the fabric is already polyester. Stripes, halves, hoops, fades and sponsor blocks are printed into the panel before cutting, so the finished jersey has no heavy layer sitting on the chest and no cracking after a season.
Home and away are two separate artworks and two separate print runs. That is the single biggest cost driver on a football order, so decide early whether you need both in year one. How sublimation works.
Crests, club badges and anything that should feel raised go on as embroidery or as a woven patch. Squad numbers and player names are set into the sublimation artwork, which means every jersey is printed individually from your squad list.
- Sublimation for stripes, halves, fades and sponsor blocks
- Embroidery or woven patch for the club crest
- Names and numbers printed into the panel, not applied on top
- Solid-colour bibs left undecorated to keep reorders cheap
MOQ and squad sizing
50 pieces per style per colour
A home jersey is one style. The away jersey is a second style with its own minimum. Shorts count separately again.
Split sizes freely
Within a colour the size breakdown is yours. Order nothing in the smallest size if nobody wears it, and load the middle of the run if that is where the squad sits.
Cover several teams at once
Because the minimum is per colour and not per team, a club running first team, reserves and a youth side in the same colourway can hit 50 comfortably and order once. Low MOQ production.
Football kit: common questions
No. We are a cut-and-sew factory, not a sock knitter. Jerseys, shorts, bibs and warm-ups come from us and socks are sourced by you. Send a sock swatch and we will match the jersey colour to it.
Yes, and it is the usual pattern. Each colourway carries its own 50 piece minimum, so a home and away order starts at 100 jerseys before shorts.
Around 130 GSM in an open mesh is the practical floor before the cloth becomes see-through under stadium light. We will flag it at sampling if your colour choice makes that a problem.
Yes. Send a squad list with size against each name and we print each panel individually. There is no extra minimum for per-player printing.
We manufacture to your design only. We hold no club, league or federation licence, approval or sponsorship, and we will not reproduce a mark you cannot show a right to use.
Samples in 12–18 days, bulk in 30–45 days from approved sample and artwork. Plan backwards from your first fixture and leave room for one round of fit changes.
